Ross Money Mitchell

Ross Money Mitchell (born Ross Mitchell on May 8, 1987), is a British amateur boxer. From July 12, 2005 through June 14, 2008 he was rated by The Ring magazine as the number-one up and coming boxer in the UK.[1] Mitchell has an amateur record of 84-6 and won British Amateur Boxing championships in 2003 (at 106 lb), 2004 (at 114 lb), and 2006 (at 125 lb.)[2] He was given the nickname "Money" by his amateur teammates because of his love of spending and bling.[3] He was once even known to repeatedly throw money in the face of a nightclub bouncer who wouldn’t let him in a club.[4] Born in Blackpool, Lancashire, Mitchell was raised in the Marton area and trained at the Victoria Boxing Gym in Blackpool.[5] Mitchell currently divides his time between the UK and Dubai where his training camp is based.[6]
